LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) production line is a specialized integrated production equipment for manufacturing LVL structural beams, which are widely used in construction, packaging, furniture and formwork support.
The line takes peeled wood veneers as raw materials. After drying, gluing, assembling, hot pressing, trimming, sanding and other processes, veneers are laminated along the grain direction and pressed into high-strength, stable-dimension engineered wood products.
Main Production process & Key Equipment
Log Preparation Section: Log soaking, peeling, veneer cutting and sorting to get uniform thin veneers.
Veneer Drying Section: Dry veneers to target moisture content to ensure bonding strength and prevent deformation.
Gluing & Spreading Section: Apply adhesive evenly on veneer surfaces with high-precision glue spreaders.
Lay-up & Assembly Section: Arrange veneers layer by layer in the same grain direction to form a mat.
Hot Pressing Section: Press the assembled mat under high temperature and pressure to cure glue and form solid LVL boards.
Finishing Section: Cool, cross-cut, edge-trim, sand and grade the finished LVL products.
